The Milwaukee Brewers made a successful waiver claim on Friday, April 5 as they acquired Vladimir Gutierrez.  He is a pitcher that they are familiar with due to his history with the Cincinnati Reds.  Upon being claimed he was optioned to Triple-A Nashville.
