Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has made it a regular occurrence to attend the Kentucky Derby. Each year he is usually seen with current or former teammates and friends.
As the 2024 NFL season approaches, Rodgers is expected to be fully healthy despite a dispiriting end to his first season in New York.
According to TMZ, Rodgers was seen at Churchill Downs watching the festivities with one former teammate ahead of his highly anticipated return to the field in 2024.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Seen At The Kentucky Derby With Familiar Face
According to Matthew Peralta of The Cold Wire:
In the meantime, Rodgers was seen at Churchill Downs taking in the festivities with former Packers teammate Davante Adams, via TMZ.
Rodgers and Adams were good friends in Green Bay and the two have obviously stayed in touch as they reunited off the field in Louisville to take in some of the sights and sounds on the racetrack.
It’s always fun to see athletes out and about enjoying themselves, and it looked like both Rodgers and Adams had a blast catching up.
The two haven’t ruled out reuniting in New York, though for now Adams seems entrenched with the Las Vegas Raiders while Rodgers will look to compete with the pieces he has on hand.
Will Aaron Rodgers And Davante Adams Ever Be Teammates Again?
One of the most intriguing rumors surrounding the NFL offseason involves superstar wide receiver Davante Adams and his potential move from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets. As per reports, the Raiders would demand a hefty return from the Jets in order to acquire Adams, whom they consider a cornerstone of their offense.
Having missed the playoffs for two consecutive seasons, the Raiders are looking for a new approach. It is possible Adams, who expressed frustration with the team’s performance, would want one last chance to win a championship before he retires. Adams will be 32 by the end of the 2024 season.
While it is unlikely, we have seen crazier trades happen recently in the NFL.
