In case you missed it, Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley had two controversial moments in the aftermath of their season-ending Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Aside from having a heated altercation with a courtside fan that saw Beverley chucking the ball in the direction of the aforementioned supporter, the feisty veteran also had a now-viral exchange with an ESPN reporter during his post-game interviews.
Beverley refused to take questions from the reporter after learning that she wasn’t subscribed to his podcast. The ESPN employee in question has broken her silence on the controversy, and she has revealed that the Bucks guard actually reached out to her to apologize.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Apologizes to ESPN Reporter

Beverley clearly wasn’t in a good mood after the crushing defeat to Indiana, and he threw a bit of a tantrum as he was being interviewed in the locker room. He asked the reporter if she was subscribed to his podcast, to which the latter responded unfavorably.
Pat Bev did not like it one bit:

The reporter involved in the incident is Malinda Adams, who is a producer for ESPN. She has since taken to Twitter to reveal that she actually got an apology from Beverley not long after the incident transpired:
“I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support. I am humbled. Patrick Beverley just called me and apologized. I appreciate it and accept it. The Bucks also reached out to apologize. I’ve been in news for over 40 years and kindness and grace always win,” Adams wrote.

You have to give credit to Beverley for owning up to his mistake but at the same time, he wouldn’t have been in this position if acted in a more professional manner during the interview.
Kudos to Adams for reacting the way she did during the incident and more importantly, for being quick to forgive after Pat Bev issued his apology.
