The Milwaukee Brewers recently found out that starting pitcher Wade Miley will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow.  Injury to this ligament is a major risk with pitchers, but at 37 years old there is automatically some concern that this could be a career ending surgery for him.  When asked about it Miley indicated that he had other plans.
