The Milwaukee Brewers recently found out that starting pitcher Wade Miley will undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow.  Injury to this ligament is a major risk with pitchers, but at 37 years old there is automatically some concern that this could be a career ending surgery for him.  When asked about it Miley indicated that he had other plans. The Milwaukee Brewers seemingly cannot catch a break on the injury front.  On the same day that they announced that Wade Miley would be joining starters DL Hall, Jakob Junis, and Brandon Woodruff on the injured list a freak accident during batting practice resulted in a rehabbing Junis being sent to the hospital via an ambulance.
