The Green Bay Packers have placed wide receiver Allen Lazard on the reserve/COVID-19 list. This news comes after Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry and all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams both tested positive for the disease earlier this week. Lazard was placed on the list as a close contact to Adams. All indications show that he is not vaccinated, meaning he will have to quarantine for five days, per NFL protocols. Lazard will miss Thursday’s game against the Cardinals.  Lazard was primed for a big game in Phoenix in Adams’s absence. One of Lazard’s best games of his career came last year…

The Wisconsin Badgers suffered a tough loss in their 2021 season opener against Penn State at Camp Randall Stadium. The 12th ranked Badgers and 19th ranked Nittany Lions entered the contest knowing it would be a battle from beginning to end. That was certainly the case Saturday afternoon in Madison.  Blown coverage on defense, sloppy fumbles on offense, and poor quarterback play from Graham Mertz were all significant factors in UW falling to 0-1 to start the year.  While mistakes are part of the game and are to be expected, especially during the first contest of the season, QB Graham…
