The 2024 NFL Draft is completed for the Green Bay Packers. Next year, they will host the 2025 draft. For the second straight year, the Packers selected more than 10 players in their draft class. Personally, I was a little surprised, but not shocked. Green Bay made a few trades throughout the three day event too.
From pick 25 of Jordan Morgan to pick 225 of Kalen King, all 11 draft picks fit what the Green Bay Packers want to do this year and moving forward. Here is how I would grade each day of the draft for Green Bay.
Green Bay Packers Day 1 Draft Grade- B+

There is no doubt Jordan Morgan was the Best Player Available on Brian Gutekunst’s draft board Thursday night. He mentioned he had the opportunity to make a trade, but ultimately decided to stay at 25 because Morgan was there. According to the Packers, Morgan will start his career at tackle.
Morgan was seen as one of the better linemen in this class. I know a lot of Packers fans were frustrated that Cooper DeJean was on the board at the time as was Graham Barton. DeJean and Barton were seen was overall better prospects.
At the same time, Green Bay is about to pay Jordan Love a ton of money. He needs to stay upright if that’s going to happen and win games. Getting a player to block for Love potentially for a long time was the smarter move in my opinion.
Green Bay Packers Day 2 Draft Grade- A-

Like many Green Bay Packers fans, I was hoping Ederrin Cooper would end up in Green Bay. After the Packers traded pick 41 to New Orleans, the Packers received pick 45 and used it on Cooper. Many believe the Packers got the best linebacker in the draft.
I have no issue with Javon Bullard, the safety out of Georgia, either. Like Cooper, Bullard will be the second starting safety next to Xavier McKinney. Props to Gutekunst for getting two studs right away.

Many also believe Green Bay got the best running back in the draft in MarShawn Lloyd out of USC. Who knows what this means for AJ Dillon, but the Packers could keep Dillon, Lloyd, and Jacobs as their three backs.
The pick of Ty’Ron Hopper seemed like a little bit of a reach, which is probably why I didn’t give this day an A, but Hopper should provide some special teams help and linebacker depth.
Green Bay Packers Day 3 Draft Grade- B

At this point, you are taking shots on some players. I really like the picks of Michael Pratt (pick 245) and Kalen King (255). King was seen as a 2024 first round draft pick this time last year, but took a massive step back at Penn State this past season. Green Bay potentially has a steal as one of the last picks.
I don’t have a ton of research on players like Evan Williams, Jacob Monk, Travis Glover, and Kitan Oladapo, but these are players the Green Bay Packers can use to create more competition in training camp. Expect most of these players to be practice squad players.
Overall- B+
It not a bad thing to say this: the Green Bay Packers did not blow this draft out of the water, but they addressed their needs and got some really nice players, especially in the first two days. This team, who was the youngest team in the NFL last season, will likely be one of, if not, the youngest team in the NFL this year too.
