Things are not looking good for the Milwaukee Bucks after a 113-126 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Brook Lopez led the Bucks in scoring with 27 points, followed by a 25-point contribution from Khris Middleton. The starting shooting guard Malik Beasley also contributed 20 points in the game 4 loss. However, the Bucks must change some of their game plan to compensate for their missing stars, Dame and Giannis.
What Can The Milwaukee Bucks Do Better In Game 5?
The one thing the Milwaukee Bucks MUST do to bounce back is not to allow Indiana to make 3-point shots. Indiana shot a franchise playoff-best 22 3-pointers against Milwaukee in their 113-126 win.
They also need to find an answer for Myles Turner. The Bobby Portis ejection in Game 4 took away a great defensive presence for the Bucks. Myles Turner balled out for the Pacers with 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Pascal Siakam also finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. The Bucks need to find a way to shut down the Pacers’ stretch forwards if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Can The All-Star Milwaukee Bucks Duo Return In This Series?
The Bucks Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn’t played in this series due to his calf injury. Doc Rivers said there has been progress in the Greek Freak’s possible return to the Bucks. In the TNT pregame, the TNT staff reported that Giannis has returned to weight-bearing cardio (on a treadmill) compared to non-weight-bearing cardio (doing cardio in the water). It is possible he could return in game 5 on Tuesday at Milwaukee.
Damian Lillard is trying to heal from his Achilles injury in game 3. He was last seen in a walking boot, so it doesn’t look promising for Bucks fans. Doc Rivers isn’t shutting down Lillard for the series, as he’s hopeful he’ll return. However, his return is more uncertain as they approach game 5.
Game 5 will be at Milwaukee on Tuesday at 9:30 EST.
