Chicago Bears fans were pretty upset during most of their team’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1. Bears fans talked a lot of trash about the new era in the rivalry, with Aaron Rodgers leaving for New York. The Packers delivered another win at the start of Jordan Love’s era as the starting quarterback.
The Bears came out of the gate, pulling all the stops. The Bears went for a fourth-and-1 inside their side of the 50-yard line on the opening drive. They failed, and the Bears played uninspired football for the rest of the game against a shorthanded Packers squad that left Soldier Field with a 38-20 win.
Chicago Bears fans groan on X while losing to the Green Bay Packers
Bears fans took to X to vent during their loss to the Packers. Here are the best takes of Love owning the Bears in his second-ever NFL start.
Talk big all offseason about setting a new tone and being ready to compete for a playoff spot.
Come out and get your ass kicked – at home – by your biggest rival.
Complete organizational failure from top to bottom. Same old Bears. pic.twitter.com/JRPGD5iZfR

Same old trash. A top to bottom bad team, and that includes Justin Fields. No more exemptions for him, he’s shown virtually no improvement https://t.co/qEH8xfSaJM

We only want one thing as bears fans and that’s to beat Green Bay. No excuse for this loss today. This organization should be ashamed of themselves. My favorite team makes me hate football every year and that’s crazy 🤣 https://t.co/alemnP6qsV
