With the Green Bay Packers players in the offseason after a successful 2023-24 campaign, many Wisconsin sports fans turn their full attention to the Milwaukee Bucks. While the Green Bay Packers made massive signings through the offseason, the Milwaukee Bucks were finishing the NBA regular season as the number three seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks drew the Indiana Pacers in the first round, a team they were just 1-4 against in the regular season including a loss in the semifinal of the in-season tournament. The Milwaukee Bucks were also met with the realization that superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo would miss some games in the first-round matchup. Despite the missing star, the Packers players decided to show up to support their home-state athletes.

As shared by Journal Sentinal writer Lori Nickel during the Milwaukee Bucks Game 1, it appears many Packers are loving their time at the FIser Forum watching the Bucks. The players in attendance included an impressive amount of offensive firepower. These players include starting quarterback Jordan Love, freshly re-signed running back AJ Dillon, primary wide receivers Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, and even more that are more difficult to identify. The post was reshared across many platforms as fans rejoiced at the fact that the Packers players were working not only on their football skills but team chemistry as well.
Luckily for the Packers, despite the loss of superstar Giannis the Milwaukee Bucks were able to put up a dominant performance against their new rivals. With the help of a 35-point first half by Damian Lillard and an inspiring spark plug from Sixth Man of the Year candidate Bobby Portis, the Milwaukee Bucks were able to go up by 30 points and ultimately get the win in front of the Packers in attendance.
With the NFL Draft in just days, we will likely see the roles of some of these players change substantially. Come next offseason, we could be seeing new young stars join the Packers in attending Milwaukee Bucks basketball.
