The Milwaukee Bucks have been busy retaining their own players in free agency thus far. Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Jae Crowder have all been re-signed for the 2023-24 season. The Green Bay Packers drafted quarterback Sean Clifford in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He is competing for the backup role behind Jordan Love, a role that Love held for two years behind Aaron Rodgers (Love was on the practice squad during his rookie season). Shortly after arriving in Green Bay, Clifford was given Rodgers’ old locker, something that has been made note of several times. The Wisconsin Badgers may have had a rough week on the recruiting trail, but they landed a huge recruit on Saturday. Head coach Luke Fickell added to his haul of four-star recruits when cornerback Omillio Agard announced his commitment to Wisconsin. Recruiting has really picked up under Coach Fickell, with the Badgers nabbing players from regions of the country that they do not typically visit. Agard is out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is the ninth best player in the state. Amazingly, too, Agard picked Wisconsin over some pretty well-respected programs.
