Following a recent Wisconsin football camp, invitee Dalton DeBoer took the time to speak about his recruitment.
DeBoer, a 2026 offensive tackle from Minnesota, currently holds one scholarship offer from Kent State, but has received plenty of attention recently. At the recent camp, DeBoer had the chance to meet with and compete in front of Wisconsin football Offensive Line Coach AJ Blazek. The offensive tackle spoke about that experience and his upcoming camps during his recent interview.
Wisconsin Football Camp Invitee Dalton DeBoer Speaks Highly Of Coach Blazek

Following a recent Wisconsin football camp in Madison, 2026 offensive tackle and Minnesota native Dalton DeBoer spoke about his experiences during the camp. The offensive tackle stated he felt “blessed” to even be in the position that he is currently in. DeBoer impressed during the camp in front of Offensive Line Coach AJ Blazek and had the chance to meet with the coach.
When asked about that opportunity, DeBoer stated, “Coach Blazek has been amazing, he is very proud of being an offensive line coach at Wisconsin and that really speaks to me.” DeBoer looks at himself as a proud offensive lineman, and loves the energy that Coach Blazek displays when talking about his craft.
When asked about what sets him apart as a lineman, DeBoer stated, “I pride myself in blocking through the whistle and finishing every block.”

If there is one person on the Wisconsin football staff that truly speaks to the 6-foot-7-inch lineman, it is Coach Blazek. Blazek has been at the forefront of the Wisconsin recruiting efforts since his hire following the completion of last season. Blazek has been a crucial recruiter and was pivotal in landing commitments from four-star Logan Powell and three-star Michael Roeske.

Following the camp, DeBoer was asked about how he felt regarding meeting the Wisconsin football staff and also his opinions on the campus. The offensive tackle stated, “I love Wisconsin, every time I come, I see more and more of why I love the school and Madison and the culture at Wisconsin.”
DeBoer loved his time on campus, and he is not the only one as a slew of recent invitees have walked away impressed with the staff and campus. The Wisconsin football staff is working hard to develop their program into an ideal landing spot for any recruit, and the work is paying off.
