The Penn State Nittany Lions did not play this past weekend, and they were the third-ranked team in the country. This week, Penn State will go on the road and face the Wisconsin Badgers football team, which has won three straight games.
Wisconsin is not ranked in the Top 25 polls this week, but that could change if they beat Penn State this weekend. The Nittany Lions are 6-0 this season and the Badgers are 5-2 this season.
Penn State Nittany Lions Not Thrilled They Stay At 3 In the AP Polls Before the Wisconsin Badgers Matchup
Last week, Penn State was ranked number three in the AP Polls. This week, they stayed at three in the rankings. The Oregon Ducks jumped to number one in the country after the Texas Longhorns’ loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. As for Georgia, they jumped from five to two in the polls.
Penn State Nittany Lions fans were not thrilled about staying put in the rankings. Here are what the fans had to say about it on social media:
Penn State should be two. Georgia lost to a mediocre Bama team, gave up 31 to 1-6 Mississippi State, and needed a miracle to escape 3-4 Kentucky by 1 point.

Many thought that Penn State would jump from three to two this week with the Texas Longhorns loss. Instead, the Georgia Bulldogs leapfrogged them and that is what made fans upset.
Trap Game
This is a trap game for the Penn State Nittany Lions this weekend on the road. The Wisconsin Badgers don’t have the talent like Penn State does, but they have looked better as of late. With the Ohio State Buckeyes on the horizon for the Nittany Lions, this could be a game where they overlook Wisconsin.
This is a game that the Nittany Lions should win. However, the Badgers will not go down this weekend without a fight.
