The Green Bay Packers signed wide receiver Malik Knowles to the practice squad. A former star of the Kansas State Wildcats, Knowles was a productive wide receiver and kickoff returner at the collegiate level.
Mansfield Lake Ridge High School 2018 wide receiver Malik Knowles committed to Kansas State. He had 850 yards and 17 TDs his senior year. He was rated as a 3-star wide receiver.
WR Malik Knowles freshmen year at Kansas State
Malik Knowles was the leading returning receiver for the Wildcats, and he was just a freshman in 2019. Last season he caught 27 catches for 397 yards and three touchdowns
Knowles is a huge playmaker for the Wildcats. In his career, he’s caught 50 catches for 701 yards, eight touchdowns, averaging 14 yards per catch. He’s also rushed for 170 yards and one touchdown.
Malik’s record-breaking accomplishments
Knowles made the All-Big 12 2nd Team in 2021, having an average of 33 yards per return and two touchdowns. In his career he has caught 79 catches for 1,142 yards 12 touchdowns, rushed for one touchdown and has 1,099 kick return yards with three touchdowns.

Malik Knowles 1691 career kick return yards ranks 2nd most all time at K-State. His three kickoff return TDs rank 4th most all time. Knowles 27.7 kickoff return average ranks 7th most all time.
In three years at Kansas State, Knowles earned All-America honors twice, first in 2021 as a return specialist and again in 2022 as an all-purpose player.
Malik declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft
Malik Knowles is off to the NFL Draft after piling up 1,867 receiving yards over five seasons with the Wildcats. He also received an invite to the 2023 NFL Combine.
Knowles is an angular route runner with who is much more effective in developing longer routes. He has solid hands and good in contested catches. He is a great athlete in space.
Malik’s touchdown in the preseason against the Browns
The Minnesota Vikings signed undrafted wide receiver Malik Knowles on April 29, 2023. On August 27, 2023, the Vikings waived him with an injury designation.
In the preseason he had one reception for one yard and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings won 27-12.
