Wisconsin Badgers has taken a commitment from three-star OL Nolan Davenport. Davenport plays at Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio.
The Wisconsin Badgers 2025 offensive linemen class also includes Hardy Watts, Logan Powell, Michael Roeske and Cam Clark. The Badgers are up to 14 commits in the 2025 class.
Players like Hardy Watts, Kevin Heywood, Ryan Cory, Emmerson Mandell, Logan Powell, Nolan Davenport, and Michael Roeske are going to once again make Wisconsin the dream school for high school offensive linemen. It’s great to be in love with the direction of OL recruiting again.
Nolan choosing Wisconsin over the other schools interested in him
Davenport had 33 different scholarship offers from different colleges before he made his decision on June 6, 2024. Coach Blaze is really killing it on the recruiting trail. The depth will be a whole lot better, and fun watching these young guys develop.
The Badgers outkicked Michigan State, Missouri, and Penn State, among several others, for the standout from Ohio. He committed to Wisconsin and now they have a possible star in each of their offensive linemen 2025 class.
Nolan’s thoughts about the fit with the Wisconsin Badgers
“Wisconsin was an extreme culture fit for me. I really like Coach Fickell’s vision for the program.”
Offensive linemen Nolan Davenport talks about how he felt that Wisconsin was home.
“I just felt like that was home for me. I took a few days to go home and make sure it wasn’t the euphoria of being there.”
The scouting report of Nolan Davenport
Davenport has elite size at 6’6 260 pounds. He certainly fits the mold of what the Badgers are looking for from a physicality standpoint. Davenport does have the arm length to play on the edge.
Davenport possesses good movement skills and good footwork. He’s able to explode out of his stance to latch onto targets. He plays an athletic brand of football off the edge.
Davenport does a good job of taking good angles to defenders. He creates holes for the running back when trying to block defenders.
Nolan Davenport’s successful football career with Mallison Washington
Massillon (Ohio) Washington 2025 three-star offensive tackle Nolan Davenport’s recruitment really started to take off once he made the switch from tight end to tackle. That position change came during his junior year.
He guided the Massillon Tigers to a 16-0 record to capture its first OHSAA Division II state title since 1970. The Tigers have won nine national and 25 state championships.
