The NFL continues to provide some of the best that the sport has to offer and November in the NFL is no different. November is when contenders begin to separate themselves and other teams are looking toward the NFL Draft. However, the weather begins to change up north. How about some NFL road trips?
Starting off in Cincinnati would be ideal if you want to hit all the best matchups. Each week, the NFL has at least one fantastic matchup concluding in Atlanta. Financing the trip could be an interesting challenge but an online car title loan for the vehicle you’d use on the trip would do wonders. Use that cash to hit up the best matchups and bring home great souvenirs.
Amazing NFL Road Trips for November
November 5th: Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals
When escaping the North, you would be remiss to miss out on this potential classic between a pair of AFC heavyweights. Last year, the first meeting was called off due to the Damar Hamlin injury. Then, Cincinnati rolled into Buffalo in the AFC Divisional Round and pounded the Bills to the tune of 27-10 in the snow.
In 2023, neither team has been quite up to expectations. Regardless, both team is built to win and win now. Joe Burrow and Josh Allen are both well worth the price of admission. The biggest question here will be can Cincinnati’s defense keep it up and limit the big-play ability to Allen and Stefon Diggs. Kicking off the trip in Cincinnati would be a great start to a November NFL road trip.
November 12th: San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Next up, there is a matchup of playoff-bound teams in an AFC-NFC crossover. It’ll be just the seventh matchup between the two. A fact that makes sense when one considers that the Jaguars are still pretty new to the NFL. Jacksonville won the first two matchups but San Francisco has won each of the last four.
The Jags are firmly in control of the AFC South division and will likely lock it up with weeks to spare. Trevor Lawrence is continuing to develop into the franchise player he was expected to be. The 49ers, on the other hand, have one of the most complete rosters in the NFL and is getting it done with Brock Purdy at quarterback. This is going to be a massive showdown even it does not have direct playoff implications. A win here would set either team up in the long run.
November 20th: Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs
Super Bowl rematch. Monday Night Football. Chiefs vs Eagles. It doesn’t get much better than this.
Both teams have started off the 2023 season picking up right where they left off from last year’s championship teams. The Eagles have been Tush Push-ing their way through the league and are led by a pair of MVP candidates in Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown. Meanwhile, their Georgia-led defense has stifled offenses left and right.
Kansas City is still Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes is still Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs and the best tight end in the league, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, continue to have one of the best offenses in the league. Roll into GEHA Stadium at Arrowhead Field and you just might see her Swiftieness. It’s the biggest game of the year, so it will be well worth the tickets.
November 26th: New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons
The road trip concludes in Atlanta for what many would just glance over because the NFC South has been a mess for the last few years. No matter how well or poorly any team not named the Panthers plays, any of the three other teams have a legitimate shot of winning it.
The Saints are confusing. They went out and got Derek Carr but the offense has not exactly taken a step forward. The defense has been up and down, overall. The Falcons continue to draft well…but refuse to use them. The Bijan Robinson debacle in Week 7 in just the latest in a long line of confusing decisions by Arthur Smith and the Falcons when it comes to their top-10 draft picks over the last couple of years.
