NFC South: Best Odds, Bets & Predictions for 2023

Many NFL analysts predict that the NFC South will be the weakest division in the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won it a season ago with an 8-9 record. This division winner in 2023 can very well win it with a record under .500.

There are more question marks rather than answers with a lot of these teams in the division. What are the odds for each team in the NFC South on BET MGM?

NFC South: Best Odds, Bets & Predictions for 2023

    New Orleans Saints +125

The New Orleans Saints have the best odds to win the NFC South this season at +125 on BET MGM. The reason this is the case is that they have the best quarterback in the division with Derek Carr. Carr has played his entire career with the Las Vegas Raiders and will have a chip on his shoulder.

New Orleans has a solid defense. They also have Chris Olave and Michael Thomas as the top two wide receivers. Head coach Dennis Allen needs to prove himself this season with the Saints.

    Atlanta Falcons +220

Interestingly, the Atlanta Falcons have the second-best odds to win the NFC South at +220. Atlanta has talent all over the place on the offensive side of the football, with rookie running back Bijan Robinson. Drake London and Kyle Pitts are also solid playmakers. This season will fall upon the shoulders of Desmond Ridder.

The Falcons have a brilliant offensive mind in head coach Arthur Smith. Atlanta improved its defense in the offseason and could be a team that people sleep on this season.

    Carolina Panthers +350

The Carolina Panthers have the third-best odds to win the NFC South this season on BET MGM. Carolina will ride with rookie quarterback Bryce Young heading into Week 1. He was the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Alabama. Young picks up things very well, but the Panthers’ offense lacks playmakers after trading D.J. Moore to the Chicago Bears.

The Panthers have a very good young defense led by Brian Burns. Frank Reich is the new head coach and is looking to make an immediate impact.

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers +750

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst odds to win the NFC South this season. Tampa Bay lost quarterback Tom Brady to retirement, and in comes Baker Mayfield. The Buccaneers are an older roster, and it appears as if their Super Bowl window has shut.

Tampa Bay could be a team that, if they are 1-5 this season, could be looking to trade off players like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Devin White, and Lavonte David and start a rebuild. Todd Bowles is the head coach of this football team for now, but may not be after this season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in the Caleb Williams sweepstakes.
