The Green Bay Packers have made it clear that they are in full pursuit of a Super Bowl, from the words of the general manager Brian Gutekunst to the splash signings of Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney. This can only be expected after making an impressive playoff run with the youngest NFL team to ever make the playoffs in Jordan Love’s first season as the Green Bay Packers starting QB.
With the NFL draft approaching, the Green Bay Packers will likely look for the Draft to make key moves for the franchise, not only in who they draft but potentially draft pick trades.
#1 Green Bay Packers Obtain Elite Wide Reciever

The Green Bay Packers have a young talented wide-receiving core. The receivers came together throughout the 2023-24 season to make the Green Bay Packers one of the premier offenses in the NFL. But with consistent injuries to budding star Christian Watson, the Packers have the opportunity to trade Watson and picks for one of multiple true WR1s to help solidify the depth chart for the Green Bay Packers.
Tee Higgins is one of the most talented and physically gifted in the NFL, now under a franchise tag at a pivotal point in his career with the Cincinnati Bengals he could look to find a new home in Green Bay.
#Bengals franchise tagged WR Tee Higgins, on if he anticipates playing for Cincy in 2024: “I do anticipate it.”
With a trade request in and no traction on contract talks, this is one to watch, regardless 👇👇👇 https://t.co/7WaIH2M9Z5— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 15, 2024
A familiar foe from the San Fransisco 49ers could be on his way out of San Fransisco Bay to Green Bay. Brandon Aiyuk is at a similar point in his career as Higgins, looking for a new long-term contract with a team he’s found success with. In the event they can not come to an agreement, it would not be a far-fetched idea that the Green Bay Packers could be phoning the Niners with interest.
#2 Green Bay Packers Trade Up In First Round To Secure Their Guy

The 25th pick in the NFL draft is a peculiar spot to be in, as it is not so low that a draft room concedes for a lower first-round grade prospect, but likely not high enough to secure the player they are looking for. If the Green Bay Packers decide to trade up in the NFL draft, it would likely be in the 15-20 range to secure one of two players.
Cooper Dejean stands at a prototypical 6’1 205 pounds, his form transfers into an unmatched speed and power that makes him one of the best athletes on any field. Dejean is also an invaluable asset to special teams and could be a first-year gunner and return man for any team in the NFL (something the Packers are in the market for.) Experienced in multiple levels of defense, the Packers could use Dejean as a “plug and play” option wherever they need him to be throughout his first year. With an impressive pro-day performance from Dejean, it is unlikely he will fall to #25 for the Green Bay Packers.
Quinyon Mitchell is the near consensus number 1 option at cornerback in the NFL Draft, if he were to fall past pick 12 there would be a good reason for the Green Bay Packers to look to move up, as they hold four total picks in the top 91 picks in the NFL Draft. A 6’0 195 frame, pure cornerback instincts, and impressive speed give Quinyon Mitchell a nearly non-existent list of things he can not do at the cornerback position.
The Green Bay Packers have all the draft capital needed to make a splash play on draft night, it remains to be seen if that’s the route GM Brian Gutekunst decides to go in.
