The Milwaukee Milkmen are riding a 6-game Win Streak
The Milkmen are the hottest team in the American Association of Professional Baseball. They have climbed up the standings and are now in 2nd place in the East Division. The Chicago Dogs are still in first but were swept by Milwaukee.
Milwaukee really let Chicago have it on Sunday, beating the Dogs in Chicago 8-4. Milwaukee really opened the game up in the third and never looked back, not even to add some celery salt to the Chicago Dogs.
It was a statement win for the Milkmen.
Pitching has been strong
You don’t have to watch much baseball to know the importance of strong pitching. And the Milkmen have been dealing as of late.
On Saturday June 3rd the Milkmen pitching staff shut out the Chicago Dogs in a nice away win. Christian Young was the winning pitcher, throwing six strong innings.
Jose Fuentes was the winning pitcher Sunday. He pitched five strong and really kept Chicago in check. But the nice performance on Sunday came from Gregori Vasquez. He pitched two solid innings in relief, only giving up one hit with no walks. Petyon Gray shut the door for the win for Milwaukee, pitching a scoreless ninth.
Nate Hadley is also a relief pitcher that has been dealing of late. He pitched on both the 2nd and 3rd of June, pitching a scoreless inning in each game.

On June 1st Aaron Hill had a great game, going 3-5 with a home run and a double. Hill’s performance helped led the Milkmen to a 10-4 victory against the Gary SouthShore RailCats.
