     This Milwaukee Milkmen Player is Being Called up to the LA Angels

    It is no secret that players in the American Association of Professional Baseball would love a shot to make it to the big league in the MLB. Many professionals in the AA have made an MLB run, simply never making it above double-A or triple-A. 

    The Milkmen really had an identity as a fast base-stealing team that could pitch and defend. Pitcher Christian Young is no exception.

    What are some of Young’s Highlights?

    Young started 18 games this past season for the Milkmen. He went 7-6 with an impressive 3.91 ERA. Young pitched 98 innings and had 110 strikeouts. He only gave up 30 walks. Young’s impressive whip helped the team throughout the season.

    Young is known for having great control. A leader in the clubhouse, he was highlighted a ton this season. The right hander has played with the team since 2021.

    Christian Young helped lead an impressive pitching staff for Milwaukee who continues to look to add new staff. Recently the team added Eli Davis and Shane Barringer. Those two, along with other winter adds, should help keep the team competitive in 2024.
