The Green Bay Packers have had a notable off-season so far. David Bakhtiari (released), Aaron Jones (released), Jon Runyan Jr. (signed with Giants), and Darnell Savage (signed with Jaguars) will all be playing football elsewhere in 2023. In addition, Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney are the newest additions in Green Bay.
McKinney was the first Safety acquired by the Packers this off-season, however, he certainly won’t be the last.
The Green Bay Packers Signed Star Safety Xavier McKinney

According to Jarrett Guerrera of Wisconsin Sports Heroics:
The Green Bay Packers have announced they are planning on signing their top free agent target to a multi-year deal.
Xavier McKinney, a dynamic safety who captained the New York Giants defense, has agreed to a contract with the Packers. McKinney will ink a four-year, $68-million deal with the Packers when he can officially sign this Wednesday. The Packers worked quickly to improve their hole at safety after allowing former starter Darnell Savage to walk in free agency.
The Green Bay Packers have announced a massive free agent signing as they have agreed to terms with safety Xavier McKinney. McKinney agreed to a four-year, $68-million deal with the Packers after the Giants allowed the defensive back to hit the market. The Packers suffered from a lack of quality safety play last season, and wanted to address their issues in a big way.

Jenkins was drafted by the LA Chargers back in 2017 as a fourth-round pick out of Miami. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.06M rookie contract with the Jaguars. It will be his first time testing the free agent market after signing a four-year, $35 million deal with the Jaguars.
Jenkins made 101 total tackles for Jacksonville in 2023, including seven for loss, one sack, two interceptions, and nine passes defended. During the year 2022, he had three interceptions and three forced fumbles, and he made two of the biggest plays of the season; he forced the game-winning fumble against Tennessee in Week 18, and he picked off the Dallas Cowboys in the walk-off semifinal.
In an interview with 1010XL’s Frank Frangie at the NFL Combine, Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said it’s hard to let guys like Jenkins go, even if you’ve formed a relationship with them.
