Months before the event is held, there have been several mock drafts that project which the Packers are going to select. Some project the franchise to go with Iowa Hawkeyes’ Cooper DeJean to beef up the defensive lineup.

Another route Green Bay can take is trading up to secure Notre Dame’s Joe Alt. This move will give the Packers a young starter at left tackle and boost the offense from the get-go.
Also, the Packers can package their picks in the upcoming draft to get proven veterans, such as DaQuan Jones or Patrick Queen. This move will infuse the roster with more experience and help Green Bay compete against powerhouses in the NFL.
Green Bay Packers Projected to Select Kool-Aid McKinstry in a Mock 2024 NFL Draft
One of the several mock drafts being put out there is made by Bucky Brooks. In it, the Packers are projected to select Kool-Aid McKinstry using the 25th pick.
Hailing from the University of Alabama, McKinstry is a dynamic cornerback who can improve the Packers’ defensive backfield depth. As Brooks said in his mock draft, the 6’1 prospect from Birmingham, Alabama, still needs to refine his technique before reaching a level where he can definitely make an impact.
Nevertheless, McKinstry is an intriguing pick at the 25th spot. At 21 years of age, there’s a lot of time for him to grow and take a leap in subsequent seasons for the Packers.
In any case, a lot of eyes will be on the Packers to know what move they will move ahead and during the NFL Draft to improve for the upcoming campaign.
