The Green Bay Packers have an opportunity to build off an extremely impressive 2023 NFL Draft. Brian Gutekunst has a chance to take this team to Super Bowl caliber with a successful 2024 Draft. 11 draft picks gives the team plenty of opportunities to bring in some talent all on both sides of the ball.
However, just hours before the draft, social media is going crazy over the team being linked to the same player over and over again.
The Green Bay Packers Are Being Linked To One Player In Hectic Way Just Hours Prior To The NFL Draft

Twitter (X) is going absolutely viral over one player as the draft is just hours away:

There’s usually 2-3 guys each year that most fans and analysts constantly mock to Green Bay but I don’t think I’ve ever seen as much as a consensus pick as Cooper Dejean.

Will The Packers Actually Pull The Trigger On Cooper DeJean?

A special player would be needed for the Packers to trade up in the first round. That player might be Cooper DeJean. The Green Bay Packers could use him as a safety and cornerback, making him one of the most versatile defensive backs in the draft.
There are already three starting cornerbacks on the Green Bay Packers’ roster: Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, and Keisean Nixon. Over the last three seasons, Alexander has played just 53 percent of the Packers’ games. During the 2023 season, he suffered back and shoulder injuries.
A decision on Stokes’ fifth-year rookie option has not yet been made by the organization. Last season, he played in just three games. For both the Packers’ present and future, selecting Iowa’s Cooper DeJean would be a huge move.
If DeJean falls all the way to 25, many think it is a lock they would take him. However, if he falls to the middle of the first round, the Packers could start to make some calls to move up.
One thing is certain, Packers Twitter is in full Cooper DeJean mode as the draft inches closer.
