Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers have been on an absolute tear lately. The recruiting game has been on another level after Fickell arrived. The Badgers have landed four-star quarterbacks, defensive backs, and elite players from the transfer portal. The next elite talent could be on the way for the Badgers. Former USC wide receiver C.J. Williams may be on the way to Madison.

CJ Williams was at one point a Notre Dame commit who ended up flipping to play for Lincoln Riley at USC. He chose USC over the likes of UCLA, Texas, and Stanford. Coming out of high school he was one of the most sought after recruits in the country. He fielded a total of 49 offers to different Universities. Williams stands 6′ 2″ and is 190 pounds, originally from Santa Ana, California.
Williams is someone who can come in right away and establish himself as the No. 1 or 2 receiver. That is something he didn’t have the chance to do while he was at USC. This was in-part due to injuries and the fact that the Trojans took in a major haul of veteran receivers from the transfer portal this past year. The Badgers’ wide receiving room could be absolutely stacked in 2023. The Badgers are returning their top four receivers from last season. Junior Chimere Dike, redshirt freshman Skyler Bell, sophomore Keontez Lewis, and redshirt freshman Markus Allen. Additionally WR Bryson Green (Oklahoma State), WR Quincy Burroughs (Cincinnati), and WR Will Pauling (Cincinnati) have all visited Madison.
