The Milwaukee Bucks acquired Patrick Beverley in a trade during the 2023-2024 season right before the NBA trade deadline. Beverley last season played in 73 games and averaged 6.2 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.9 APG, 0.4 BPG, and 0.6 SPG. He also shot 41.7% from the field, 33.7% from three-point land, and 82.2% from the free-throw line.

Milwaukee was hoping to re-sign him for the 2024-2025 season, but he will have different plans for the future. General manager Jon Horst signed Delon Weight earlier this offseason to be the backup point guard for Damian Lillard.
On the Pat Bev Pod, he announced that he is going to plan on signing with Hapoel Tel Aviv BC. It is in Tel Aviv, Israel. Patrick Beverley said about this new opportunity:
“They gave me everything I asked for… I couldn’t refuse.”
The curious question is what is everything he is referring to? There is no doubt there are beaches in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a bunch of clubs. Is this why he is making the move overseas? It remains to be seen, but did the Bucks also offer him anything before making this move to Israel?
Fans React To Patrick Beverley Leaving the Milwaukee Bucks And Heading To Israel

There is no doubt that fans reacted when Beverley decided to go overseas and leave the Milwaukee Bucks. This is what some fans had to say about him going to Tel Aviv, Israel on Twitter:
Man, I hope he stays safe. In this time of war… it’s dangerous for players to be overseas, especially a country that is at war. Stay safe Bev you’re an NBA Legend! 🐬🆙

Chris Paul started his NBA career 7 years before Patrick Beverley … and he’s still in the league. Imagine that. Life is good.

These were some interesting tweets no doubt. He is 36 years old. If Beverley were to ever some back to the NBA at some point in his basketball career, he would have to serve a four-game suspension whether he would come back to the Bucks or a different NBA team.

It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers he is going to put up with Hapoel Tel Aviv BC next season. It would be funny if he averaged more points per game overseas in Israel than he did in the NBA.
