Luke Fickell and his staff have been on a tear on the recruiting trail lately. After a week of nabbing three and four-star recruits, the Badgers got QB Nick Evers from the transfer portal. With additions like these, it is no wonder that more recruits are starting to give Wisconsin a look. Four-star defensive back Amare Snowden visited Madison this past week. Amare Snowden loved the vision that Luke Fickell has for Wisconsin.

Amare Snowden Had A Good Visit To Wisconsin
It seems that the visit this weekend went well. The four-star recruit out of Roseville, Michigan loved what he heard from head coach Luke Fickell. Fickell clearly has a great vision for what this Wisconsin program can become. Recruits are obviously responding well to the message. While he has not given a commitment yet, the fact that he spoke positively of the visit is a good thing. Even if Snowden doesn’t commit to Wisconsin, the messaging is landing with recruits.
What Will The 2023 Class Look Like?
When Fickell was hired, no one knew what to expect for the 2023 class. Fickell had been known as a great recruiter but he was behind the eight ball because of the coaching change. He is proving just how good he is. With the class they are putting together, Wisconsin is looking to be a player in the Big Ten next year. The Big Ten West is the weaker division. Purdue represented the division in this year’s Big Ten Championship game. If all of this talent translates to success on the field, Wisconsin could find itself in that game in 2023.
The hope is that Amare Snowden commits to Wisconsin. It would be another highly skilled defensive back on the roster. This past week has been huge for recruiting news. Hopefully, we will see some more commits this week.
