The Wisconsin Badgers are on a roll lately. They recently secured their fifth commitment via the transfer portal, and are looking for more. With the addition of new Offensive Coordinator Phil Longo, the Badgers will look to pass the ball much more in the coming years. On December 7th, the Badgers are hosting yet another possible weapon for their new-look offense. This time a wide receiver from Oklahoma State University. Wide receiver Bryson Green will be in Madison this weekend.
Bryson Green Visiting The Badgers In Madison This Weekend
On Saturday night, Oklahoma State wide receiver transfer Bryson Green will be in Madison for an official visit. This visit will last through Sunday night per Badger247. Green is coming off a sophomore season where he caught 36 passes for 585 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games. Within that season Green had three 100-yard receiving games including 133 yards and a touchdown in a win over No. 22 Texas in October.
Bryson Green entered the transfer portal on January 4th. He reportedly made visits to Auburn and Ole Miss prior to coming visiting with the Badgers. Green was second-leading receiver for Oklahoma State in 2022. He has played in 23 games over the last two seasons. He even had six starts as a true freshman in 2021. Coming out of Allen High School in Texas, Green held scholarship offers from Auburn, Baylor, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas Tech, Utah, Virginia Tech, Washington, and Washington State.
The Badgers’ wide receiving room could be absolutely stacked in 2023. The Badgers are returning their top four receivers from last season. Junior Chimere Dike, redshirt freshman Skyler Bell, sophomore Keontez Lewis, and redshirt freshman Markus Allen. Bryson Green isn’t the only wide receiver visiting the Badgers this weekend. WR C.J. Williams (USC), WR Quincy Burroughs (Cincinnati), and WR Will Pauling (Cincinnati) have or plan to visit Madison.
