Badgers Fans React To Four Star QB Nick Evers Commit To Wisconsin

Nick Evers’ decision has Badgers fans excited

The Wisconsin Badgers got their most important commitment for next season Saturday morning. Nick Evers, who entered the transfer portal from Oklahoma, announced he’d be taking his skills to Madison next season. Evers was a four-star recruit out of high school. He has four years left of eligibility. Evers’ commitment is a big deal for a program that needed some big-time commitments after Paul Chryst’s firing led to player turnover.

It’s a huge momentum builder for new head coach Luke Fickell. Having a quarterback like Evers transfer to the program should bring more players to Wisconsin shortly. The Badgers class was in single digits recently. But Wisconsin has flipped some recruits this week and is currently ranked as having the 59th overall class for 2023.

Badgers fans are excited for Evers to come to Wisconsin

Wisconsin’s offense will look different next year. Fickell hired one of the best offensive coordinators in the country, Phil Longo, to help modernize the Badgers’ offense. Longo will now be paired with an improvement at quarterback and several key pieces of the offense returning next year. Badgers fans took to Twitter after Evers’ announcement. Fans seemed pretty unanimously excited that he’d be coming to Wisconsin. Here are the best takes on Evers’ commitment to the Badgers.
