It’s going to be a fun-filled event tomorrow in Madison for Wisconsin Football fans! The Badgers will hold their event, “The Launch”. This event will allow fans to see the 2023 Badgers for the first time in person. Fans will get to see some 11-on-11 action, and there will be opportunities to get involved. Here is what you need to know!
The Launch Tickets & Parking
According to the Wisconsin Athletics website, tickets are free for the public. However, you do have to reserve tickets. There is a link on the Wisconsin Athletics website to do so. The site stated as of Wednesday, that over 20,000 tickets for The Launch were reserved already! I only expect that number to grow as we get closer to tomorrow. You will want to reserve your tickets fast!
As for parking, the site also states parking in certain is $5, and only cards will be accepted and not cash.
Other Events
Uw Football Spring Practice 5 March 25 2023
According to UW Athletics, there will be several other events happening around the stadium for fans as well. Bucky’s Locker Room will have a sidewalk sale from 11-3 right by Camp Randall. This is a great chance for fans to purchase some new swag and get excited for the new season and regime in Madison.
Fans will also receive a 2023 magnet and a program for the 2023 season. Concessions will also be available for fans at The Launch. The menu options can also be found on the UW Athletics website.
How Will “The Launch” Practice Look?
Luke Fickell gave some clarity on what The Launch will look like.

*each series will be at least six plays unless there’s a turnover
*1s get the first half of practice with the 2s/3s going the rest of the way.

This is a good answer from Luke Fickell regarding how the practice will go. There will be live tackling, and fans will get to see a ton of different players. I think this is good for fans because there are so many new faces in this program that seeing these players live will be great.
