Wisconsin football is in the middle of their spring football practices. The Badgers went 7-6 in year one under head coach Luke Fickell. It was a tough year given the pre-season hype and expectations. With the expansion of the Big Ten, year two might be even harder. Wisconsin football also needs a new starting quarterback after last year’s starter Tanner Mordecai used his last year of eligibility. The Badgers brought in Tyler Van Dyke out of Miami as what looked to be the obvious replacement. However, redshirt sophomore Brayden Locke, who appeared in five games last season, looks to be…

Last Thursday, I did my first mock draft of the pre-NFL Draft process for the Green Bay Packers. I did the mock draft machine on Pro Football Network that included five rounds. This week, I decided to try the mock draft machine on Pro Football Focus. I do not subscribe so I was able to only do three rounds. I also did not do trades for the simplicity of this piece. The Green Bay Packers do have five picks in the first three rounds. I doubt they keep all five, but here is what I was able to draft. Green…

Earlier this week, I took a look at reason why the Green Bay Packers could trade out of pick 25 in the NFL Draft. With only two weeks until the draft begins, it seems more realistic Brain Gutekunst could move up from their original draft position. Here is why I think Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers could do this The Green Bay Packers Have A Ton Of Draft Capital The Green Bay Packers own 11 draft picks in this years draft, including five picks in the top 100. There are a lot of teams that would want to have…

Only 16 days remain until the 2024 NFL Draft begins in Detroit. The Green Bay Packers own 11 draft picks, but don’t have a lot of glaring needs, I don’t see them using all their picks. As a result, I would expect Brian Gutekunst to move up or possibly down at any time over the course of the three day event. The Packers begin their draft at pick 25 right now. Here is why I could see them moving out of pick 25. The Green Bay Packers Have The Ability To Be Aggressive Days 2 And 3 If the Green…

The 2024 NFL Draft is only a few weeks away! The Green Bay Packers own 11 picks in this year’s draft, including the 25th overall pick. There are needs to address on this year’s team, but I don’t see any glaring needs right now. Because of this, I think the Green Bay Packers should go best player available at pick 25. Here is why I think that. No Glaring Need To Move Up For The biggest needs on this year’s roster is safety, inside linebacker, and offensive line depth. They can get any of those positions at pick 25 and…

With the NFL Draft only three weeks away, the Green Bay Packers are in the middle of putting their draft board together. It’s a 365 day a year process, especially with a franchise that likes to build their teams based on drafting and developing like the Packers. I thought it would be a good idea to begin going through mock draft simulators through Google and draft players I think The Green Bay Packers should draft. This mock draft I did was five rounds via Pro Football Network. Here were my results (I did not trade picks). Green Bay Packers Pick…

After looking at what the starting offense could potentially look like for Wisconsin football yesterday, today I switch over to the defensive side. Like the offense, the defense has some positions they need to replace. The Badgers did that by going heavy on the linebacker position in the transfer portal. This group and unit should be better under second year defensive coordinator Mike Tressel. Here is an early look at what the Wisconsin football offense could look like this season. Wisconsin Football Defensive Line: Curt Neal, James Thompson Jr, TJ Bollers I was worried going into this season about the…

Wisconsin Badgers land RB Tawee Walker

Now that the Wisconsin basketball season is over, it is time to start looking into Wisconsin football as spring practices have arrived. It was an up an down for year one of the Luke Fickell. The Badgers, who were seen as the early favorite to win the Big Ten West last season, ended the season 7-6 overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten West. We saw flashes early and at the end of the season, but when it mattered most, the Badgers did not play well. Year two could be interesting with the expansion of the Big Ten. However, Wisconsin…

It’s hard to believe, but we are less than a month away until the 2024 NFL Draft. The Green Bay Packers own 11 draft picks this year. They have hit on their quarterback of the future, addresses the running back room, and hit on multiple receivers they drafted last year. There isn’t a ton of draft needs, especially after signing safety Xavier McKinney in free agency. However, this year, the Green Bay Packers still have two glaring needs they need to address in the draft. Green Bay Packers Draft Need: Inside Linebacker After the Green Bay Packers released D’Vondre Campbell…

It’s only been a few days since the Wisconsin basketball season surprisingly ended in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Greg Gard and the Badgers were successful in the transfer portal last off-season by getting AJ Storr after he left St John’s. It was a great first few months of the season, but a really bad February haunted this team for four weeks. They played much better the first two weeks of March, but it did not matter they fell to James Madison in a game they were not overly competitive in. There were thing this team did well…
