As we approach February, the Wisconsin Badgers are trending the wrong direction. They have lost six of their last seven games. Most brackets will have the Badgers are either a Last Four In team or out of the bracket entirely. With ten regular season games left, they are running out of chances to build their tournament resume. The season isn’t over yet, however. Here are three ways the Badgers can get back into it. Better Bench Production To be honest, Wisconsin gets little production from their bench. The only time was when Connor Essegian was first of the bench. He…

However, as we approach the month of February, they have lost six of their last seven games and are most likely on the outside looking in at the NCAA Tournament. It was a gut-check game for the Wisconsin Badgers. Coming in losing five of their last six games, the Badgers returned home against Illinois Fighting Illini Basketball. After a terrible first-half shooting, Wisconsin took the lead in the second half. However, the defense fell apart late again, and the offense was really bad again. At the end, Wisconsin fell to Illini Basketball 61-51. Here are some three takeaways from today’s game. Max Klesmit Was Really Good vs. Illini Basketball Max Klesmit returned vs. Illini Basketball after missing the last two games after a facial injury against Penn State. He came…

There’s no doubt the Wisconsin Badgers are sliding. They have lost five of their last six games. They finally return home for the first time in 11 days. The Badgers welcome red-hot Illinois who has won five of their last six games. Tip time is scheduled for 2 PM on FOX. Here is a preview of tomorrow’s game. Will We See A Different Chucky Hepburn? The Badgers need more out of their sophomore point guard. I’ve been vocal all season saying this team does not have much room for error. That means Hepburn has to be good most nights for…

It was a second half to forget for the Wisconsin Badgers. After trailing by only four at half, they were out-scored 41-27 in the second half at Maryland. The final score of Wisconsin v Maryland Basketball was 73-55. Wisconsin has now lost five of their last six and fall to 4-5 in the conference after a 3-0 start. Here are three takeaways from tonight’s game. Connor Essegian Didn’t Play Like A Freshman Connor Essegian was by far the best player on the court for Wisconsin against Maryland Basketball. The freshman has had his share of tough moments in conference play.…

Wisconsin’s big three of Tyler Wahl, Chucky Hepburn, and Steven Crowl struggled for the most part last night. They combined for 31 points on 11/33 shooting. Northwestern’s defense deserves a lot of credit, but all in all, the big three need to play…

wisconsin Northwestern Basketball

It was a classic Big Ten game between Wisconsin and Northwestern Basketball tonight. It was physical, led by defense, and came down to the end. Ultimately, the Badgers fell 66-63. Boo Buie led all scorers with 20 points, while Jordan Davis led the Badgers with 15. It wasn’t a good start for the three games in seven-day journey for Wisconsin. Here is a preview of tomorrow’s game. The Start Of A Busy Week Because of the postponement, it will be a quick turnaround for both Wisconsin and Northwestern. Big Ten Basketball standings

The Wisconsin Badgers are almost halfway through the Big Ten season. As we close out January and head into February, teams begin to separate themselves in the Big Ten Basketball standings. As a fan, we begin to figure out who can make noise in March and who will most likely be on the bubble.  The Badgers currently stand at 12-5 overall and 4-3 in the Big Ten. The conference as a whole has been interesting, to say the least. Here are my current thoughts on this year’s team. They Can Beat Anyone But Can Lose To Anyone Over the course…

New Wisconsin Offensive Coordinator Phil Longo has only been on the job a few weeks. To say he’s been incredible so far is an understatement. A big reason why is the explosive offense Longo is bringing from North Carolina and the transfers it’s bringing with it. It’s an offense that benefits the receivers and the quarterback, something that has hindered the Badgers since Russell Wilson. It also allows for a ton of points be scored. However, Wisconsin’s run game benefits just as much as the receiving game. Easier On The Running Backs You could argue Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen…
