We all know how much of a threat Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard is from beyond the arc. In fact, the eight-time All-Star probably has the most range among all the players in the league today. The only person who could probably challenge Lillard’s claim to the throne is none other than the GOAT shooter himself, Stephen Curry.
If you ask LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers talisman seems to believe so.

In a recent episode of his Mind the Game podcast with former Bucks guard JJ Redick, LeBron touched on Lillard’s insane range, and how he and Curry bring this type of unique proficiency to today’s game:
“Dame and Steph are two guys in our league where their bigs will screen them… As soon as they cross halfcourt, they’re in range,” LeBron said.

I see no lies here.
Lillard is so good from beyond the arc that it’s as if there’s no bad shot from him whenever he lets loose from rainbow territory. As LeBron said, as soon as Dame crosses the halfway mark, it would be foolish for defenders to give him time and space to get off an uncontested shot.
You can’t say the same about too many players in the NBA — both past and present — which is what makes Lillard such a special player.
