When it comes to rappers in the NBA, there is arguably no one more revered than Milwaukee Bucks superstar Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A. This is exactly why hip-hop fans have been waiting to hear what the eight-time All-Star has to say about the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.
Dame has now voiced out his opinion on the ongoing rap war between two of the most iconic personalities in the history of hip-hop. At least somewhat.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Makes Light of Kendrick Lamar-Drake Beef
Lillard didn’t exactly come out with a lengthy and all-too-serious take on the Kendrick-Drake beef. Instead, the 33-year-old decided to take a playful jab at the entire situation by sharing one of the multitude of memes that have been produced by this onumental rap battle (h/t Sean Cavanaugh of sportskeeda):
Lillard isn’t hating on Lamar or Drake. He has, however, decided to use all the drama to point out how much bad blood there is between the two multi-Grammy Award-winning rappers.
Dame’s own friends and family better hope that they don’t get a Kendrick-themed meme from him anytime soon because Lillard has made it abundantly clear what he means in case he does.
For his part, Lillard will have more time to work on his music this summer. This is after the Bucks suffered a heartbreaking first-round series loss to the Indiana Pacers. We all know how much Dame loves being in the studio, so perhaps we can expect another album drop from him in the coming months.
