The Milwaukee Bucks have been without starting two-guard Malik Beasley over the past two games. The 27-year-old has been dealing with a non-COVID illness that has forced him to miss his team’s back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday.
The Bucks still managed to win their third and fourth straight games over the weekend, though, logging victories against the Detroit Pistons and the Houston Rockets.
Milwaukee Bucks SG Malik Beasley’s Status Vs. Spurs

The Bucks are back in action on Tuesday in a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs at the Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee supporters will be glad to know that Beasley is now expected to return to the court for Tuesday’s contest:
“[Beasley] has been out for the last couple of games,” reported NBA insider Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. “I was told there was some flu symptomps — someting going on in the family. Sources told me that he is expected to return back from that illness for Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.”

This is obviously great news for the Bucks, who will get their sharpshooting guard back in the mix after a brief two-game absence. Beasley has been deadly from beyond the arc this season, knocking down 3.0 triples per game on a career-best 45.8 percent clip.
A Relatively Clean Bill of Health

With Beasley returning and Pat Connaughton set to play in his third straight game following a relatively lengthy injury absence, the Bucks are now close to being back to full strength. The only key player missing on their roster right now is Jae Crowder, who is still recovering from surgery on his left adductor back in late November.
While there is still no firm target date for the veteran’s return, his initial timetable indicates that he should be back some time in January, giving him more than enough time to be ready for the postseason.
