The surging Milwaukee Bucks are expected to secure a win on Tuesday when they host the San Antonio Spurs, who for their part, have won just four out of the 25 games they’ve played this season.
Be that as it may, you can be sure that the Bucks aren’t taking anything for granted in this one. In fact, they’re going to be coming into this matchup in (relatively) full force.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Injury Report Vs. Spurs
The Bucks have already submitted their injury report for Tuesday’s contest, and the big development is that Malik Beasley has been listed as probable to play. Milwaukee has missed the services of their starting shooting guard over the last two games due to a non-covid illness, and it looks like he will be back in action on Tuesday.
Rookie Andre Jackson Jr. has started in Beasley’s place over the last two contests, and it only follows that he will be demoted back to the bench if Beasley is cleared to play. In his last two starts, the 22-year-old rookie has averaged 9.5 points on 57.1 percent shooting, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 turnovers in 31.1 minutes per contest. Jackson has also knocked down 1.5 triples per game during that stretch on a 37.5-percent clip.
Jae Crowder remains out as he continues to recover from adductor surgery in November.
Victor Wembanyama Ruled Out
The big news for the Spurs, however, is that rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama won’t be able to suit up against the Bucks. The 19-year-old is dealing with a sore ankle, which will force him to miss just his second game of the season.
Fans will need to wait a bit longer to see Wemby take on Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court.
