The Milwaukee Bucks were forced to do without the services of cornerstone superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo throughout their first-round series against the Indiana Pacers. Damian Lillard, on the other hand, was banged up as well, as he valiantly played through an Achilles injury in Game 6 after being forced to sit out Game 5.
There’s no denying that it was Khris Middleton who stood out as Milwaukee’s most consistent star throughout the Pacers series. The three-time All-Star wasn’t a hundred percent either, which made his strong play even more impressive.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Khris Middleton Draws High Praise From Patrick Beverley
It wasn’t just the Milwaukee faithful who were left in awe of Middleton’s heroics. The 32-year-old left a similar impression on his teammates as well.
In a recent episode of his podcast, Patrick Beverley had nothing but high praise for Middleton and the latter’s commendable effort in their heartbreaking series loss to the Pacers:

Beverley acknowledged the narrative about Middleton being an injury-prone player, but what he showed in the Pacers series just proved how much heart this dude has. As Beverley said, he learned so much about Middleton in the six games against Indiana, which is pretty much the same sentiment a lot of Bucks fans feel about the 6-foot-7 wing.
