The Milwaukee Bucks have been knocked out of the NBA’s first ever In-Season Tournament in a loss to the Indiana Pacers with a score of 128-119.
The Pacers, who are the highest scoring team in the entire league, will advance to the championship game and play the winner of the Western Conference matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Drops 37 Points in Loss for the Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo put up yet another solid performance in the loss to Indiana. Dropping 37 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 13-19 from the field in 41 minutes of action. Antetokounmpo has now put up at least 30 points in eight of his last ten games.
Shots were not falling for Milwaukee tonight outside of Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, who put up 20 points while shooting 4-5 from behind the arc. As a team, Milwaukee shot just under 45 percent from the field, which played a big part in the loss. Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez and Malik Beasley combined to shoot just 36 percent as a group.

Tyrese Haliburton continues to show why he is a rising star in this league. He dropped 27 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists, shooting 11-19 from the field without turning the ball over. This is Haliburton’s 16th double-double of the season, which is by far the most out of any other guard in the NBA.
After being traded to Indiana from the Sacramento Kings in a blockbuster trade back in 2022, Haliburton has established himself as the true franchise player for this young Pacers team. Leading them to the championship of the first ever In-Season Tournament is a huge step in that process.
Myles Turner also put in a productive stat line, adding 26 points and 10 rebounds with 3 blocks on the defensive end. Turner, who is averaging just under 17 points and 8 rebounds a game, has also stepped up into a prominent role for Indiana after getting a 2-year, 58-million-dollar contract extension earlier this year.
With the Milwaukee Bucks being eliminated from In-Season Tournament, they will now travel back home to Fiserv Forum, where a revenge game is in order versus the Chicago Bulls come Monday, December 11th. The Bulls defeated Milwaukee in an overtime thriller last Thursday 120-113.
