The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business on Sunday. They came into the Wells Fargo Arena to take on the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Bucks ended up conquering the Sixers on their own home floor.
Philly did all it could without their superstar big man Joel Embiid available but ultimately, the shorthanded Sixers just proved no match to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co.
Milwaukee ended up defeating the home team in a blowout, 119-98.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 3-Word Message After Sixers Win
After leading the Bucks to a convincing 21-point victory in Philadelphia with 30 points (on 10-of-17 shooting), 12 rebounds, nine assists, and a block, Antetokounmpo took to Twitter to send an inspiring three-word message:
Make it count 💪🏾😃 pic.twitter.com/FNaqZYCt25
— Giannis Antetokounmpo (@Giannis_An34) February 25, 2024
As always, Giannis kept it short and simple. He let his game do most of the talking on Sunday, and he made sure to send his message across to his team with his strong play.
That’s now back-to-back 30-point games for the two-time NBA MVP after his 33-point explosion in Friday’s win against the mighty Minnesota Timberwolves. Needless to say, Giannis has been back with a determined vengeance since the All-Star break.
He will want to keep it going on Tuesday against a 14-42 Charlotte Hornets side as the Bucks return to the Fiserv Forum.
