The Milwaukee Bucks made it two in a row on Sunday with a 119-98 blowout win against a Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers side at the Wells Fargo Center. That’s now two straight road wins for Milwaukee following their 112-107 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
Right now the Bucks are undefeated (2-0) since the All-Star break.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Latest Scoring Feat
Once again, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo who led the charge for the Bucks in this one. The two-time NBA MVP finished with a game-high 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting, to go along with 12 rebounds, nine assists, a block, and one triple in 36 minutes of action.
Giannis has been on a scoring tear for pretty much the entire season (he’s averaging 30.8 points this year), and he’s kept his foot off the gas since returning from the mid-season break. So much so, that the eight-time All-Star achieved yet another scoring milestone on Sunday.
Antetokounmpo’s moment came late in the third quarter as he drained a pair of free throws from the charity stripe. He became just the 78th player in league history to eclipse the 18,000-point scoring mark.
With that free throw, #Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has scored 18,000 points in his career. https://t.co/cfxyVVdzAy

Very few players in the history of the sport have ever achieved this iconic milestone, and Giannis can now count himself as part of this elite group.
There are currently just eight active players who are in this same category, which incidentally, includes Bucks superstar point guard Damian Lillard. Dame reached 20,000 points earlier this season, which means that Giannis still has quite a ways to go before he’s able to catch up to his teammate.
