The Milwaukee Brewers are likely not done adding pieces to their roster. Already they have added Carlos Santana at first base, but they have been involved in multiple other rumors to players such as Eloy Jimenez and Mark Canha. One appealing player that they could consider currently plays for the Boston Red Sox and will be a free agent at seasons end.

Boston Red Sox rental trade target Adam Duvall could be an ideal fit for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Adam Duvall, a 34 year old outfielder and former 2021 World Series Champion with the Atlanta Braves, may be a great fit for the Milwaukee Brewers. His 2023 base salary is just $7.00 MM, he bats from the right side, hits southpaws to an equal extent as right-handed pitchers, and the cost to acquire him would not be much.
This year Adam Duvall missed two months of game action due to a fractured wrist. He has played in a total of 43 games this year in which he has a .260/.325/.527 line with eight home runs, 28 runs batted in, and a 123 OPS+. Throughout his career he has three 30+ home run seasons and he can be a game changer at the plate when healthy.
Based on his 2023 statistics provided above, Adam Duvall appears poised for a strong final two months of the season. His offense would be the biggest addition for this year his defensive metrics are below average. Should Milwaukee acquire him seeing time as the designated hitter would be a real possibility.
It will be interesting to see if Boston will hold on to Adam Duvall or not. The Red Sox are currently just a few games out from a Wild Card spot, so they may elect to retain him. However acquiring about his availability is at least worth a phone call from Matt Arnold.
