Milwaukee Brewers Fans Sound Off On Losing Series Against The Oakland Athletics

The Milwaukee Brewers entered their weekend series against the Oakland Athletics with some momentum.  In their two series prior they won two out of three games against the Baltimore Orioles and three out of four against the Cincinnati Reds.  Now they have dropped the first two games against the team with the worst record in baseball.

On Friday night the Brewers lost to the Athletics by a score of five to two.  Milwaukee was down four to zero early on, cut the deficit in half in the second inning, and then failed to collect a base hit the remainder of the game.  Saturday was not much better as the offensives only run scored came via a William Contreras solo home run in the eighth inning.

Following the loss Milwaukee Brewers fans took their frustration out on social media.

@Brewers this is just absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional and just a complete and utter embarrassment to lose 2 in a row to the worst team in the league right now some firings need to happen this is not ok I’m embarrassed as a fan right now by you guys get it together.

Typical Brewers, beat the hard teams and completely throw against historically awful teams. Not to mention our roster is made of glass and we’ve had more injury reports than wins. As long as we fix the stadium and keep Adames that’s all I’m worried about in the end.

The Brewers offense is inexcusably bad. Injuries or not, it’s been one of the worst in the franchise’s history so far. Way too many players are performing well below what they’re capable of. They need to figure it out.

I hate it here. The games don’t show it but I know we’re better than this. And it’s so frustrating to watch this terrible baseball. Idk if hitting coaches got to go or what but there needs to be some sort of action done in response to this to show the team that this isn’t okay

Anyone surprised? They have contact hitters swinging for the fences. Hasn’t worked the last 3 years.. so they’re response is to try the same thing for a 4th year.

Never seen a team waste pitching like the Brewers the last few years.

Team Offense is hot garbage and the beat goes on vs teams under .500. If the A’s call up a Minor League SP to start on Sun. they could sweep the Crew.
