The Milwaukee Brewers have been without co-ace starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff for quite some time. He last took the mound on April 7, which was his second start of the season. It has since been revealed that he is dealing with a subscapularis strain. His initial return date was set for the end of June but that has now been pushed back to around the All-Star break.

Brandon Woodruff is not expected to be back with the Milwaukee Brewers until around the All-Star break.
Not too long ago Brandon Woodruff had a minor set back where he had to stop throwing for a bit. This is what is pushing his time to return back a few weeks. The MLB All-Star break this year takes place from July 10-13th.
Once Woodruff returns he will have the benefit of not having a lot of mileage under his belt during the 2023 season. If fully healthy this could set him up for a big second half of the season in which the Brewers are expected to be making a play-off push.
