The Green Bay Packers have two selections in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. They will have the 41st and 58th picks in the second round. Green Bay addressed the offensive line in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft by selecting Jordan Morgan from Arizona 25th overall.
On Day 2, you would have to think that general manager Brian Gutekunst is going to draft some help in the secondary whether it is at cornerback or at safety. They have 11 picks in total in the 2024 NFL Draft and will see where the Green Bay Packers go on Day 2.
There are a lot of talented defensive players available in the second round of this draft. Who are some of the names to watch for when the Green Bay Packers are on the clock?
The Green Bay Packers May Still See Cooper DeJean Available On the Board When On the Clock At Number 41

DeJean was projected as a first-round talent in a lot of mock drafts. The fact that he still may be available when the Green Bay Packers are on the clock at 41 is very wild. You would think that General Manager Brian Gutekunst would not pass up on him this time around, but you never know.
Cooper DeJean can play cornerback and also safety. DeJean is known for his punt returns. The only reason why the Packers may pass up on him again might be due to the injury he suffered during the last college football season with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Kool-Aid McKinstry, Alabama

McKinstry is a quality starting cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft and it is surprising also he is still around. His teammate, Terron Arnold, was drafted 24th overall by the Detroit Lions in the 2024 NFL Draft. Kool-Aid McKinstry and Arnold formed a solid cornerback tandem with the Alabama Crimson Tide a season ago.
McKinstry opposite of Jaire Alexander would be a good tandem for the Green Bay Packers. In a division where they will be facing quality wide receivers, they need to find some cornerbacks to slow them down.
Ennis Rakestraw Jr., Missouri

Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst went to Missouri Tigers Pro Day earlier in the offseason. There is probably a reason why he went to the Pro Day. Ennis Rakestraw Jr. was a shutdown corner for Missouri during the 2023 college football season.
Green Bay could use another shutdown corner. If the Packers were to draft someone on Friday, watch for his name to be called potentially with one of the two picks in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
