2024 NFL Draft: How Many Picks Do the Green Bay Packers Have?

Even with a devastating loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night, the Green Bay Packers still had quite a memorable run this season. With Jordan Love showing why he’s the team’s most important player, there’s no reason for them to go far in the coming years.

Sure, the Packers melted down in the final two minutes of their game against the 49ers, as analyzed by Rob Gronkowski. This can be seen in the way Anders Carlson missed a kick that led to a Christian McCaffrey touchdown run and a wild pass from Love that sealed his team’s elimination in the playoffs.

Setting aside all those mistakes, the Packers still had one hell of a run this season. Even after Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, the team’s future is looking good, courtesy of Love and company.

Heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers are shaping up to be one of the major players in the offseason. The team currently has eight picks, with three coming from the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.

Along with these eight picks, the Packers are also projected to receive three compensatory picks. All of these assets can be used to infuse new talent into the team or package them to get proven players via a trade.

General manager Brian Gutekunst has the chance to surround Jordan Love with a better roster over the summer because of these picks. In any case, keep an eye out on the Packers, as they can make big moves before the upcoming season starts later this year.
