Now in his fifth year, LaFleur has been the NFL’s best fourth-down coach over the last two seasons, based on an analysis by football analytics company Sports Info SIS. The Wisconsin Badgers extended a scholarship offer to small forward Xzavion Mitchell, becoming the first power conference team to offer the Class of 2025 prospect. Mitchell had previously received an offer from Cal Poly. Iowa State and Marquette have both shown interest in Mitchell, although there are no confirmed offers yet. Donaldson batted second and played third base in the Sounds’ loss at the Durham Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
