Are the Green Bay Packers more likely to win the Super Bowl or go winless in 2023? Will Jordan Love throw for 500 yards in a game? These may not be the most burning questions as the NFL season kicks off, but they’re prop betting options available at major online sportsbooks.
The Green Bay Packers are either due for a tough season or will be one of the NFL’s biggest bargains, based on how much trust you put in Vegas lines.
One popular sportsbook, Bovada, has published an extensive set of NFL Season Props, and it provides a chance to cash in if their bookmakers are wrong about Green Bay.
Green Bay Packers Season Props
The Packers are a betting favorite, at -200 odds, to miss the playoffs. Only Chicago (-215), Denver (-215), Carolina (-200), New England (-280), Tampa (-500), Las Vegas (-450), Indianapolis (-500), Houston (-700) and Arizona (-1800) are more highly favored to miss the postseason. The Giants have the same odds as Green Bay.
If you like the Packers to make the playoffs, that has odds of +150. Bovada also lets you choose how far they’ll advance. Green Bay is +360 to lose in the Wild Card round, +700 to lose in the Divisional Round, +1500 to lose in the NFC Championship Game, +4500 to lose the Super Bowl and +5500 to win it. Twelve teams have longer odds to win the Lombardi Trophy this year.
Green Bay is given +3300 odds to be the last remaining undefeated team in the league this season. Fourteen teams have more favorable odds, putting the Packers in the middle of the group.
Odds are significantly longer to finish off the undefeated regular season. Green Bay has +30,000 odds to go 17-0, the same as Pittsburgh, Carolina and Denver. Fifteen teams are considered better bets to do it, according to NFL betting lines.
On the flip side, an 0-17 season is a +6500 proposition for the Packers. They are the seventh most likely team to go winless, behind the Cardinals, Colts, Texans, Commanders, Buccaneers and Titans. The Packers have the same odds as the Patriots and Raiders.
The Packers are +165 to finish with a winning record. Only 11 teams are considered less likely to finish over .500.
Green Bay is +8000 to finish with the best regular season record, the same odds as the Broncos and Giants. The Packers are +2200 to have the worst regular season record in the NFL, matching the Panthers for eleventh most likely to do it.
In the NFC North, Bovada sets the odds of the Packers sweeping the Bears in their two regular season games at +220. The Bears are +250 to sweep the Packers. The Lions are +150 to pull off a home and home sweep of Green Bay.
The Packers are +285 to score at least one touchdown in every game. They are +7500 to rush for a touchdown in each game and +5000 to throw for one in each game. Scoring two touchdowns in each game gets odds of +6500.
The Packers are +4500 to sweep everyone in the division and go undefeated in the NFC North. They are +4000 to go undefeated (ties are okay).
Jordan Love, Aaron Jones and Other Green Bay Packers Player Props
Jordan Love is +400 to throw 30 or more passing touchdowns in the regular season and +475 to rush for at least five scores. Love’s odds of topping 275 passing yards in at least eight games is +280, and topping 400 yards twice gets +450 odds. If he passes for 500 yards in any game, it will pay off at +1200.
Christian Watson is +600 to catch at least 10 touchdown passes. He’s +125 to have 1,250 yards from scrimmage. He gets +155 odds to reach 75 receiving yards in eight or more games and +305 odds to top 175 receiving yards in any game this season.
Aaron Jones is +1000 to rush for 10 or more scores. He’s +125 to have 1,250 yards from scrimmage and +340 to rush for 1250 yards. If Jones hits the century mark in rushing in eight or more games, it pays off at +575.
Dillon has +130 odds to have 1000 yards from scrimmage.
Romeo Doubs is also +130 to reach the 1000 yard mark in yards from scrimmage.
For combination props, Love passing for 4000 yards and Watson catching 10 touchdowns has +350 odds. The odds of any Packer having 10 or more rushing or receiving touchdowns is +460.
