Amari Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers

Yesterday, the Green Bay Packers made the decision to waive their 2021 third round draft pick, Amari Rodgers. As it turns out, Rodgers was not out of work long. DJ Bien-Aime, who covers the Houston Texans for ESPN, reported on Twitter that the Texans had signed Rodgers. How…

It has already been a dramatic offseason for the Milwaukee Brewers. While they have not made any notable transactions, David Stearns did step down as President of Baseball Operations. Despite the numerous rumors that he would depart this offseason for New York or Houston, he remains adamant that he will remain in his advisory role with the Brewers this year. Now that the offseason is underway for all teams, the Brewers have set about filling their 40-man roster after several of their players became free agents. Yesterday, the team announced four additions to the 40-man roster, all of which are…

The Green Bay Packers snapped a five-game losing streak by defeating the Dallas Cowboys 31-28 in overtime on Sunday night. They will look to make it two in a row after a quick turnaround as they face the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night. In order to start piling up the wins, they will need to replicate their formula for victory against Dallas: running the ball. In their win on Sunday, the Packers ran the ball 39 times against just 20 passing attempts. The majority of those attempts went to Aaron Jones, who had 24 carries for 138 yards and a…

Chandon Sullivan was one of the more underrated contributors to the Green Bay Packers resurgence in 2019. An undrafted defensive back out of Georgia State, Sullivan spent the first season of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He did not get very much playing time and was released by the Eagles in May of 2019. Four days later, the Packers picked him up, and the rest, as they say, is history. Sullivan spent three seasons with the Packers and helped them reach the NFC Championship game in two of those years. After his contract expired, he signed with the Minnesota…

Packers Fans Amari Rodgers

When the Green Bay Packers first drafted Amari Rodgers, many predicted that he would get the “Randall Cobb” role in the offense. Then the Packers traded for Randall Cobb himself. Many believed that Rodgers would spend a year or two learning from Cobb and take over once Cobb left or retired. That, of course, is no longer the case. The Packers released Rodgers, along with Kylin Hill, earlier on Tuesday afternoon. For the last year and a half, much has been made of the fact that Cobb and Rodgers have a special connection. Amari Rodgers’ father was Randall Cobb’s wide…

Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers were able to get back in the win column with their victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. Late in the game, Aaron Rodgers threw a block that was eerily reminiscent of when he tried to block Za’Darius Smith in Week One. The results, however, were much much different. As one can see, the block from the Week Ten game against the Cowboys was much better than the Week One game against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers’ overall game was much better as well. Rodgers finished with 224 passing yard and three touchdowns on 14/20 passes…

The losing streak is finally over! Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys blew a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter and the Green Bay Packers are back in the win column. Now at 4-6, the Packers have kept their playoff chances alive on the backs of some timely plays by some unlikely players. Three Studs Christian Watson This was a coming out game if there ever was one for Christian Watson. The Packers’ second round pick had four catches for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Watson is the first Packers rookie wide receiver with 100 yards…

There is no doubt that Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. At the same time, there is no doubt that he is a polarizing personality. Rodgers is incredibly intelligent, but also holds some beliefs that divert from what may be considered mainstream. This year, especially, has seen Rodgers divide the Packers fanbase with comments that he has made in interviews. He has, on numerous occasions, placed the blame for the offense’s poor performances on the wide receivers. According to MJ Hurley of Third Down Thursdays and Game on Wisconsin, several veteran Packers players have disagreed with the way that…

The Wisconsin Badgers are in a time of great transition. After firing head coach Paul Chryst, defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard was named as interim head coach. In the days and weeks that followed, a number players either transferred or were dismissed from the program. Of course, the biggest name on the Badgers team is Braelon Allen, the bruising running back who once challenged AJ Dillon to a quad contest. Recently, there have been rumors that Allen would leave Wisconsin and transfer to Michigan. Allen, however, had some strong words yesterday regarding those rumors. Braelon Allen Gave Jim Leonhard a Huge…

Grayson Allen trade

The Milwaukee Bucks signed Grayson Allen to a two-year contract worth $18.7 million this past offseason. Despite this new contract, the Bucks have called multiple teams regarding a trade involving Allen. Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports wrote: “…Milwaukee has called numerous teams about Grayson Allen’s trade prospects, sources said.” This was an interesting little blurb in an article Fischer wrote about Bojan Bogdanovic and how the Detroit Pistons could try to trade him to the Phoenix Suns in a deal involving Jae Crowder. Fischer states that the Bucks’ interest in Crowder remain well-known throughout the league. Could the Bucks Trade Grayson…
