There is no doubt that Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. At the same time, there is no doubt that he is a polarizing personality. Rodgers is incredibly intelligent, but also holds some beliefs that divert from what may be considered mainstream. This year, especially, has seen Rodgers divide the Packers fanbase with comments that he has made in interviews. He has, on numerous occasions, placed the blame for the offense’s poor performances on the wide receivers. According to MJ Hurley of Third Down Thursdays and Game on Wisconsin, several veteran Packers players have disagreed with the way that Rodgers has talked about the team to the media.
Aaron Rodgers Is Losing the Packers Locker Room
Prior to the regular season, Rodgers was again voted as one of the team captains. As Hurley explains, some players are not really feeling the leadership they expected:
“Unfortunately, the Packers’ locker room does not feel the inspiration from their captain. Players in the offense are displeased with the playcalling, some of the checks at the line of scrimmage and the way Rodgers ‘scapegoats the wide receiver room’ which can be led back to playing time comments made on the McAfee show.”
Hurley goes on to state that if it were up to a few vocal players, Jordan Love would be the starting quarterback against the Dallas Cowboys. Not Rodgers.
Report: Rodgers is "Losing Packers Locker Room" according to @mjhurleytdt.
"Whether that be because of play, dirty looks or public comments, there is real trouble in paradise for Titletown, USA. "https://t.co/ZK8ivuvNRh

Is There Any Merit to This Report?
As mentioned, the statements Aaron Rodgers has made this season have divided the fanbase. Some support what he is saying while others believe he is just as much to blame (if not more so) for the team’s struggles. It would stand to reason, then, that differences of opinion are present in the Packers locker room.
Mr. Hurley, too, is a well-reputed journalists and a credentialed NFL reporter. If he has sources within the Packers locker room saying that Rodgers is losing the team, it is most likely true.
