The Green Bay Packers were able to get back in the win column with their victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. Late in the game, Aaron Rodgers threw a block that was eerily reminiscent of when he tried to block Za’Darius Smith in Week One. The results, however, were much much different.

As one can see, the block from the Week Ten game against the Cowboys was much better than the Week One game against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers’ overall game was much better as well. Rodgers finished with 224 passing yard and three touchdowns on 14/20 passes against the Cowboys. In Week One, Rodgers was 22/34 for 195 yards and an interception.

Interesting Stats from Aaron Rodgers
To say that Aaron Rodgers is not having the kind of year that is expected of him would be an understatement. It may be surprising, then, to know that some of Rodgers’ stats are among the league leaders. As Zach Jacobson of CBS Sports points out:
Aaron Rodgers is tied for both the third-most completions of 20-plus yards and 20-plus yard touchdowns this season. He’s also tied in second place with Patrick Mahomes for most games with multiple touchdown passes.

Given the Packers’ 4-6 record and the offense’s poor performance all season, this may seem very surprising. It certainly helps, though, that Rodgers threw two touchdown passes of over twenty yards to Christian Watson on Sunday. Additionally, Rodgers has thrown two or more touchdowns in seven of the team’s ten games. The only games in which he failed to throw two or more touchdowns were Week One against the Vikings, Week Six against the Jets, and Week Nine against the Lions.
