Ever since Wisconsin passed on giving Jim Leonhard the head coaching job at Wisconsin, we haven’t heard much from him. Based on the tweet from Fowler, we could see Leonhard in the NFL soon. It’s hard to believe, but the UW Badgers only have four regular season games remaining. In three weeks, the Big Ten Tournament will tip off in Chicago. For the first time in five years, the Badgers must perform well in Chicago to get in the NCAA Tournament and/or improve their tournament seeding. After a 58-57 home loss to Rutgers Saturday, Wisconsin continues to be haunted by poor shooting and a lack of late-game execution. Without reigning Big Ten defensive player of the year Caleb McConnell, there was no reason the Badgers couldn’t pull out that win. The shooting and execution…

Sitting at 15-10 and 7-8 in the Big Ten, Wisconsin currently sits on the NCAA Tournament bubble. At the beginning of the year, it was supposed to be the big three of Tyler Wahl, Chucky Hepburn, and Steven Crowl leading a young Badger team. As we watched Wisconsin fall to overtime at Nebraska yesterday, a lot of the same problems this Wisconsin team has had all season showed up again. Not being able to score late in games, being out-toughed, poor late game decisions, and overall bad execution. After this loss to a pretty bad Nebraska team, it could have been the dagger to Wisconsin’s NCAA Tournament hopes, barring something crazy. It’s easy to blame Greg Gard. It’s easy to blame the players. It’s not just one to blame. Both coaches and players are at fault for this as it’s been an issue all…
