Wisconsin Badgers

It was another typical night for the Wisconsin Badgers. It was another game that went to the wire. Unfortunately, the Badgers fell in another close game. Tonight, they fell to Purdue 63-61. Max Klesmit led the Badgers with 19 points on 7-11 shooting. Chucky Hepburn also added 13 on 5-12 shooting. Wisconsin continues to squander chances to solidify their NCAA Tournament spot. Here are three takeaways from tonight’s gut-wrenching loss. Max Klesmit Was Fantastic If junior Max Klesmit didn’t have the game he did tonight. Wisconsin would have gotten blown out of the gym. At times, Klesmit has been passive…

The Boilermakers have already clinched at least a share of the Big Ten Conference. A win for the Badgers would go a long way for their NCAA Tournament hopes. Tip time is 8 PM on FS1. Here is a preview of tomorrow night’s game. What To Do With Zach Edey The Badgers, like any other team, had their hands full with Zach Edey last season. Bracketology, Wisconsin Badgers

According to most bracketology experts, the Wisconsin Badgers are on the NCAA Tournament bubble as we enter the final week of the regular season. A win Thursday against Purdue would go a long way toward getting them into the big dance. They are also running out of time to stack up wins. The Badgers have enough quad one and quad two wins to get in, but they need more total wins. With Selection Sunday 12 days away, here are what the bracketology analysts from ESPN, CBS, and FOX are saying about where the Badgers currently stand. ESPN Bracketology According to…

It was a heart-breaking loss for the Badgers yesterday. Wisconsin fell 87-79 in overtime to Michigan. Hunter Dickinson made a really tough three point shot at the buzzer and the Wolverines owned the extra five minutes. This was a result of Wisconsin falling behind as much as 12 points. As we hit the final week of the regular season, Wisconsin is squarely on the bubble. They need to have a successful week to hear their name on Selection Sunday. I see three scenarios where the Badgers hear their name to go to the NCAA Tournament. Win Both Games This Week…

This was reported by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. https://twitter.com/JFowlerESPN/status/1627714700996751361 Jim Leonhard: From Wisconsin to the Eagles Defensive Coordinator? Ever since Wisconsin passed on giving Jim Leonhard the head coaching job at Wisconsin, we haven’t heard much from him. Based on the tweet from Fowler, we could see Leonhard in the NFL soon. I know a lot of Packer fans would love to see him replace Joe Barry as defensive coordinator as well. At Wisconsin, Leonhard was the defensive coordinator from 2017-2022. After the firing…

UW BAdgers

It’s hard to believe, but the UW Badgers only have four regular season games remaining. In three weeks, the Big Ten Tournament will tip off in Chicago. For the first time in five years, the Badgers must perform well in Chicago to get in the NCAA Tournament and/or improve their tournament seeding. After a 58-57 home loss to Rutgers Saturday, Wisconsin continues to be haunted by poor shooting and a lack of late-game execution. Without reigning Big Ten defensive player of the year Caleb McConnell, there was no reason the Badgers couldn’t pull out that win. The shooting and execution…
